On April 17, 2025, under the leadership of College Principal Dr. Lakhvir Singh Gill, the Department of English and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell organized a one-day workshop on the topic “Mastering Interview Skills.” Dr. Ritika Agnihotri, Assistant Professor of English at Government Girls College, Patiala, was the keynote speaker for the session.

Principal Dr. Lakhvir Singh Gill warmly welcomed the guest and emphasized the importance of organizing such workshops, stating that they help students gain confidence and prepare effectively for interviews in their future careers.

During the workshop, Dr. Ritika interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on how to perform well in interviews. She discussed common challenges faced during interviews and suggested effective solutions. Using a computer projector, she presented a PPT and showed relevant videos to make the session more engaging. She also conducted interactive interview-related activities with the students and answered their questions.

Dr. Gurleen Ahluwalia, from the English Department and Coordinator of the Career Guidance and Placement Cell, thanked the guest and the students for their participation. She highlighted that such workshops play a vital role in the holistic development of students and significantly boost their confidence during interviews.

A total of 35 students from various courses participated in the workshop. On this occasion, Dr. Rohit Kumar, Assistant Professor Gurvinder Singh, Assistant Professor Divya, Dr. Pushpinder Singh, Professor Gurtej Singh, and Mr. Talwinder Singh were also present.
