Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s hunger strike at the Datasinghwala protest site in Khanauri has entered its 60th consecutive day. The farmer leaders described the protest as a historic, peaceful, and spiritual satyagraha guided by divine intervention.
They highlighted that January 26 preparations are in full swing across the nation. From 12 PM to 1:30 PM, farmers’ tractors will occupy roads nationwide. In Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, protests will occur at over 70 locations, while in Punjab, Haryana, and other states, hundreds of sites will witness large-scale tractor marches. In Madhya Pradesh’s Ashoknagar, a massive motorcycle rally is planned.
The leaders emphasized that the farmers’ agitation, ongoing since February 13, is entirely focused on farmers’ demands and is unrelated to any other issue. They reiterated that the protest is pure and should not be tarnished by any individual or force attempting to discredit it.
