Jagjit Singh Dallewal, a prominent farmers’ leader, continued his hunger strike for the 59th consecutive day at the Datasinghwala-Khanauri Farmers’ Protest site. According to a medical bulletin released by doctors, his health is gradually improving with exposure to fresh air and sunlight.
Farmers’ leaders announced that a Sri Akhand Path Sahib will commence on January 28, praying for the success of the protest and the recovery of Jagjit Singh Dallewal. The final prayers (Bhog) will take place on January 30, and farmers have been urged to join the gathering in large numbers on that day.
Addressing the supporters, Jagjit Singh Dallewal expressed gratitude, attributing the success of the farmers’ movement so far to divine blessings from Waheguru and Guru Sahib. He prayed for continued strength and success for the movement, emphasizing that all accomplishments are due to the grace of God, urging divine guidance for the government to make the right decisions.
Farmers’ leaders also highlighted plans for a tractor rally on January 26. As per the joint call by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, tractors will take to roads across the country from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Preparations for this event are underway with great enthusiasm.
Farmers have been called upon to gather in solidarity on January 30 to strengthen the protest and pray for Dallewal’s recovery.
