Bihar Students’ Protest: Khan Sir Accused of “Hijacking” the Movement

Patna, Bihar – The protest at Gardanibagh by BPSC aspirants has escalated as students accused renowned educator Khan Sir of “hijacking” their movement. For nine days, students have been demanding the re-conduction of the BPSC exam and the abolition of the controversial normalization process, which they claim creates unfair advantages.

Khan Sir, a popular YouTuber, joined the protest to support the students but faced backlash from a section of protesters. They accused him of diverting attention from their demands and using the movement for personal promotion. The tension forced Khan Sir to leave the protest site.

Later, he voluntarily went to the police station, where he was briefly detained and then released. Khan Sir denied the allegations, stating his intention was to amplify the students’ voices, not overshadow them.

Protesters, however, remain adamant that their movement is student-led and must focus on exam-related issues. The incident highlights the challenges faced by student movements and the growing discontent with recruitment processes in Bihar.

The protest continues, awaiting government action.
